Lilja Birgisdóttir, a multimedia artist, will join Steindór Grétar Kristinsson (electronic acoustic composer) and Eleni Podara (stage and costume designer) in a collaboration that serves the purpose of mixing together live electronics based on composed sound scapes and voice (performed by Lilja Birgisdóttir). The vision for the performance is loosely based on the composition Vertical on Flow composed by Steindór Grétar Kristinsson at the institute of Sonology and a conceptual piece by Lilja Birgisdóttir Vessel orchestra. The main concept for the collaboration is the open sea where the artists seek to combine the abstract with the known: meaning that infinite space, abstract sounds and acoustic sounds will be diffused into a sonic experience.
